HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Katelynn Walls came through big for GSU in the bottom of the sixth when she smoked a 2-RBI double to left field, scooting the Lady Tigers back in front 4-3.
  • In the top of the seventh, the Panthers were down to their final out when a throwing error on stolen base attempt at the third base allowed them to knot the game back up at 4-4.
  • In the bottom of the seventh, Prairie View A&M's Cailin Massey found herself in trouble quickly with Tavia Leadon hitting leadoff single and Z'Natria Evans following that by drawing a walk.
