HUNTSVILLE, AL. | The Grambling State women's soccer team is set to begin their 2024 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play with a matchup against Alabama A&M.
Alabama A&M holds a record of 2-7 this season, losing 1-2 in their most recent matchup against Charleston Southern.
The Lady Tigers stand at 2-6-3, losing their last match against Boston College on the road.
Alabama A&M has conceded 24 goals while managing to score eight themselves this season.
Bulldogs goalkeeper Liliana Ribeiro has made an impressive 57 saves this season.
In their last matchup against Alabama A&M, the Lady Tigers secured a decisive 3-0 victory in 2023.
Grambling State has not lost a match against Alabama A&M since 2021.
Last season, Alabama A&M went 3-16 overall and 3-6 in conference play.
