Box Score GRAMBLING, La. | In the season's home opener, Grambling State faced a tough challenge against Tarleton State University and lost 2-0.
The Lady Tigers kept Tarleton State scoreless during the first half, showcasing strong defensive play and resilience.
However, as the second half unfolded, Tarleton State's offense began to find its rhythm. The visitors broke through with two goals to secure their victory. Midfielder Jaycie Bass and forward Adelaide Wyrzynski scored the goals for Tarleton State.
This loss leaves Grambling with a record of 2-4-2 for the season. Tarleton State's win boosts their record to 4-2-3.
