C'zavian Teasett and kicker
Josh McCormick both earned Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Player of the Week honors. The awards were announced by the conference on Monday.
Teasett was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week after leading GSU to a 26-24 upset of 12
th ranked Jackson State on Saturday. Teasett threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns on 16-of-26 passing. He also ran for 31 yards and a TD on eight carries in the victory.
McCormick was tabbed the Co-Specialist of the week after nailing a 44-yard game winning field versus Jackson State. He also handled five kickoffs for G-Men.
