Grambling, LA | Grambling State University Athletics marked a historic milestone with the conclusion of its inaugural One Grambling Athletics Day of Giving, raising an impressive $521,647
to support the future of Tiger Athletics.
The campaign brought together alumni, fans, and supporters in a unified effort to invest in the student-athletes, facilities, and programs that define the Tigers legacy.
"The success of our first One Grambling Athletics Day of Giving is a powerful reflection of the passion, pride, and unwavering belief our Grambling family has in GSU Athletics," said Dr. Trayvean D. Scott, Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics.
"This milestone represents more than fundraising — it's an investment in our student-athletes, our programs, and the future of Grambling. The generosity of our supporters fuels our mission to build champions, enhance experiences, and position GSU Athletics for sustained excellence."
The funds raised will be allocated across the Athletics Department's three pillars: Tiger NIL, which empowers student-athletes to maximize their Name, Image, and Likeness opportunities; Tigers Build, which focuses on enhancing facilities to provide world-class spaces for training and competition; and Tiger Nutrition, which supports the mental and physical wellness, performance, and overall health of student-athletes.
"This is Grambling State at its best — united, bold, and unstoppable," said President Martin Lemelle, Jr. "The outpouring of support for our first Athletics Day of Giving proves what we already know: when the Grambling family comes together, there's nothing beyond our reach."
