3/23/2026 10:30:00 AM

GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University women's soccer program has announced its Spring ID Camp, set for Saturday, April 11 at the GSU Soccer Complex.

The one-day camp is open to girls ages 12–21 and will feature two training sessions running from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Hosted by head coach Justin Wagar and his staff, the camp offers a unique opportunity to train with one of the top NCAA Division I HBCU programs in the nation.

Wagar is ranked among the top 40 coaches in the nation and has made a significant impact at Grambling State.

During his tenure, he has guided the program to an 82-54-19 record and secured three championships.

He has also developed one of the most prolific scoring offenses in Division I.

Participants can expect a competitive training environment focused on skill development, technical work, and game-like scenarios, building toward full-sided play.

The cost of the camp is $70 per individual, with discounted rates available for those attending with teammates or in groups.

Players registering with a teammate or small group can attend for $60 per player, while groups of six or more can register for $55 per player.

Campers are encouraged to bring a water bottle, shin guards, cleats, running shoes, and a soccer ball labeled with their name.
