BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Grambling State placed 169 student-athletes on the The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Commissioner's Honor Roll, announced by the conference on Friday afternoon.
The SWAC Commissioner's Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher during the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.
"Having 169 student-athletes earn recognition on the SWAC Commissioner's Honor Roll is a tremendous accomplishment for our department," said Grambling State Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Trayvean D. Scott. "Their success in the classroom reflects the dedication, discipline, and commitment they bring to every aspect of the student-athlete experience. We are proud of their achievements and grateful to the coaches, faculty, and staff who support them in reaching their academic goals."
The breakdown of student-athletes represented per sport for GSU is as follows: Baseball (24), Men's Basketball (6), Men's Track & Field / Cross Country (21), Football (36), Women's Basketball (6), Women's Bowling (2) Softball (19), Women's Track & Field/Cross Country (22), Women's Tennis (5), Soccer (15) and Women's Volleyball (13).
