Varsity Club Overview
The Grambling State University Athletics Department is committed to engaging former GSU student-athletes and honoring them for their contributions while competing at Grambling.
The Varsity Club will be comprised of only individuals who have competed as a GSU student-athlete for at least one full season. Student-athlete participation will be verified by the Offices of Athletics Compliance and/or Sports Information.
The Varsity Club:
- Will support the vision of the GSU Athletics Department, which is to build on our national reputation of winning championships, graduating student-athletes, and developing leaders
- Provides its members the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships across different sports, competition eras, and geographical locations.
Both annual dues-paying and lifetime members receive a number of benefits, while continuing their legacy as GSU student-athletes and promoting Grambling's rich athletic heritage. Annual membership runs from July 1st to June 30th.
Why We Need Your Help
As a former student-athlete, you understand that private support will enable the GSU Athletics Department to recruit and train elite student-athletes in up-to-date facilities, fund scholarships and continue to compete on a level playing field with peer institutions.
We need your support to provide the necessary resources for our student-athletes to compete for championships on the field and in the classroom. Financial stability in athletics ultimately breeds success and success breeds pride among the #GramFam.

As a member or non-member, you can make your gift a recurring gift, either monthly or yearly, up to five years. Your contribution is tax deductible and 100% of it goes to that specific program.
