Played basketball his junior and senior years at Lockland High School in Cincinnati, Ohio...averaged 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists per game and earned first-team all-conference and all-state honors his junior year...averaged 18 points and eight rebounds and was earned all-city and all-state honors while helping the Panthers to the district sectional championship as a senior.
