Chris Logan was named the head coach of the Grambling State University women's soccer program in June 2026.
Logan arrives at Grambling State after serving as the Technical Director for Goalkeeping with the Colorado Rapids, where he oversaw the development of goalkeepers throughout the club's system.
Before joining the Rapids, Logan was the head coach at Minot State University, guiding the Beavers to one of the top offensive seasons in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), a postseason appearance, and multiple All-Conference selections.
Logan previously spent eight seasons as head coach at the University of North Dakota, becoming the winningest coach in program history with a 49-68-24 record. He earned Big Sky Coach of the Year honors in 2017 after leading a dramatic turnaround and later guided the Fighting Hawks to consecutive winning seasons, including a 10-win campaign in 2019, tied for the third-most victories in school history. During his tenure, he coached All-American Katie Moller and Academic All-American Olivia Swenson.
Prior to North Dakota, Logan served as head coach at the University of Northern Iowa in 2016 after holding assistant coaching positions at North Dakota State, the University of Pittsburgh, Slippery Rock University, Lake Erie College, and Notre Dame College.
A native of Stoke-on-Trent, England, Logan was an All-American goalkeeper at Notre Dame College, helping the Falcons capture three conference championships and reach the 2005 NAIA Elite Eight. He earned a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Notre Dame College in 2006 and a master's degree in English Language and Literature from Slippery Rock University in 2009.
