Carrothers Named SWAC Newcommer of the Week

Grambling State's freshman quarterback Anthony Carrothers was named Southwestern Athletic Conference football Newcomer of the week as announced today by the conference media relations office.
 
Carrothers was efficient in leading Grambling to a 34-17 victory over Prairie View at the State Fair Classic. He threw for 152 yards and a TD on 10 of 16 attempts. He also rushed for 29 yards and a score.
