Tigers to Take on Valley

Box Score ITTA BENA, MS (October 13th, 2012) - The Grambling State University Tiger football team will try to pick up their first win of the 2012 season this afternoon as they face the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils.
 
The Tigers had a great week of practice and now are looking to turn this season around.  "We had a great week of practice", said Head Football Coach Doug Williams during his weekly press conference.  "We are a young team and once the players get a taste of what winning is, they will want it even more."

Grambling leads the all-time series against the Delta Devils 47-4-2.  The Tigers have won the last 13 consecutive meetings dating back to 1996 when the tigers lost by the score of 19-10.  The first meeting between the two schools was in 1957 and the Tigers went on to win the game 52-12.
