Box Score Grambling, La – (November 5, 2013) – The Grambling State University Lady Tiger Volleyball team took advantage of unforced errors and an energetic home crowd to defeat the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devilettes 3-0 on Tuesday night at Memorial Gymnasium in Grambling.

All three sets were close and both teams battled the whole match. The "Lady Tigers" won all three sets by the scores of 25-21, 26-24 and 25-21.

Grambling (4-24 overall, 1-6 SWAC West) attacked the net all night long to keep Mississippi Valley (8-17 overall, 2-3 SWAC East) off balance. The "Lady Tigers" were led by Asia Drenon with 13 kills, while Tiarra McIver had 12 kills in the game. Breonna Loud led the "Lady Tigers" with 20 aces in the game and as a team GSU had 40 aces.

Next up for the "Lady Tigers" is a date with Alcorn State University on Friday night and they will wrap up the home schedule on November 11^th as they will face arch rival Southern University. Both matches at Memorial Gymnasium will begin at 6:30 p.m.
