GRAMBLING, Louisiana (March 15, 2013) – This weekend, the Grambling State University Tiger  (GSU) baseball team will host rival Southern University.  The three game series will begin on Saturday at noon and game three of the series will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park.

The Tigers lost two out of three games in their first Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Western Divisional series against Prairie View and then split a pair against the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff in Grambling.  Game three of the series was postponed due to rain and will be made up later this season.

The Tigers have a tough home schedule for the remainder of the month as they will not only host Southern this weekend, but they will also host the University of Louisiana Monroe, the University of New Orleans and Texas Southern.
