Montgomery, Al (September 21, 2013) - The Grambling State University Tiger football team will look for their first win of the season as they face the Alabama State University Hornets at 5 p.m.
Last weekend the Tigers lost a shootout against Lincoln University by the score of 47-34 in Kansas City. Junior quarterback
D.J. Williams had on of the best games of his career throwing for over 300 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Chester Rogers had over 160 yards recieving and 2 touchdowns, while
Jestin Kelly had over 100 yards rushing.
Today the Tigers take on an Alabama State team that won a shootout against UAPB last week by the score of 40-39. The Tigers and the Hornets battle on the field for the 35th time with the Tigers having a 25-9 advantage.
The lasttime that these two teams faced each other the Tigers lost a heartbreaker in Grambling by the score of 19-18.
