GRAMBLING, La. – Grambling  State (2-15) will step out of conference play briefly this week to take on the Lady Techsters of Louisiana Tech  (7-13) in the annual "Dig Pink" match at 7 p.m. tonight in the Thomas Assembly Center on the campus of Louisiana Tech.
 
LA Tech faced off against the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff earlier in the season in midweek non-conference action and the Lady Techsters returned home from the road contest with a 3-0 straight-set victory.
 
The Lady Tigers enter Wednesday's match looking to secure another victory after defeated Tougaloo College 3-0 in their last home match.
 
Overall, LA Tech holds a commanding 27-1 record over Grambling State in the all-time series. Additionally, the Lady Techsters have won 27 straight over the Lady Tigers with the only loss coming in the inaugural season for the program in 1987.
