Box Score AUBURN, Ala. - The Grambling State University Lady Tigers Women's Basketball team dropped their second game of the season on the road 42-92. The Lady Tigers (0-2) traveled to Auburn (2-0) Monday night and could not seem to find an answer for 6'2 power forward Tra'Cee Tanner who led all scorers with 31 points.
The Lady Tigers never could secure a lead in the game but shot 28.3 percent from the field. The Lady Tigers small line up caused them to be out-rebounded 47-24, and only able to obtain seven offensive rebounds. Â Turnovers did not help the Lady Tigers cause also as the ball was lost twenty-five times.
Shakierya McClendon, a bright spot for the Lady Tigers, led Grambling with 13 points and 4 rebounds, and
Monisha Neal chipped in 12 points 3 rebounds and 1 assist.
The Lady Tigers will host their first home game on Thursday, November 20
th against Tougaloo College at 6:00 P.M. in the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.
