Box Score Monroe, La. - The Lady Tigers (1-6) dropped a 3-1 decision (25-11, 19-25, 25-18, 25-13), Monday night on the road against the University of Louisiana at Monroe Warhawks in Fant Ewing Coliseum.
Throughout the game, there were several errors on Grambling's end that allowed easy points for the ULM Warhawks. While, ULM had a total of 25 errors, Grambling's numbered 22. This is an improvement compared to the Lady Tigers' last home game against Wiley College. That game, the Lady Tigers had a total of 30 errors.
The Warhawks' leading scorers were No. 5 Hadley Swartz (16) and No. 9 Kalena Caruthers (10) both lead with double digit kills. Jennifer McClendon had seven kills for the night. The top two scoreboard leaders for the Lady Tigers were
Desiree Bishop and
Maya Lucas both contributing five kills.
Kiara Finley and
Briliante Osborne both contributed four kills each for the Lady Tigers.
The Lady Tigers will now look to regroup and prepare for their next game on the road against Jackson State University Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 7:00 p.m.
