Box Score Grambling, La. --- Jackson State University's lead in the game gave them all the room they would need to knock off the Grambling State University Tigers on Saturday night, winning 74-63. The Grambling State Tigers (GSU) senior guard A'Torri Shine led the team with 15 points, and seven rebounds. Off the bench, Remond Brown added 14 points and six rebounds for the Tigers. The Tigers of Jackson State was led by Dominique Street, who had 19 points and five rebounds.
 
The GSU Tigers (2-15, 0-7 SWAC) trailed by 14 at halftime, but were able to bring that deficit down to just nine points at the 1:41 minute mark of the second half. The GSU Tigers late rally helped to keep them in the game but never secured the lead.  
 
The Tigers will host the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff on Saturday, January 31st at 5:00 p.m.
