Box Score Grambling, La. --- Jackson State University's lead in the game gave them all the room they would need to knock off the Grambling State University Lady Tigers on Saturday, winning 64-55. The Grambling State Lady Tigers (GSU) senior guard Shanice Poole led the team with 15 points, two steals, two assists, and five rebounds. The Lady Tigers of Jackson State was led by Dominique Brothern, who had 13 points and five steals.
 
The GSU Lady Tigers (5-13, 2-5 SWAC) trailed by 12 at halftime, but were able to bring that deficit down to just 11 points at the 58 second mark of the second half. The GSU Lady Tigers late rally helped to keep them in the game but never secured the lead.  
 
The Lady Tigers will host the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff on Saturday, January 31st at 3:00 p.m.
