Box Score MONTGOMERY, Ala.-The Lady Tigers (3-9, 0-1) suffered a tough first conference loss to the Lady Hornets of Alabama State University (5-6, 1-0) this afternoon with a final score of 30-53.

Grambling State University's leading scorers of the game were No. 4 Monisha Neal securing eight points, No. 24 Yosha Watson and  No. 5  Shakierya McClendon both securing four points each. Neal contributed one assist and one block for the team.
 
ASU's leaders were No. 24 Britney Wright and No. 13 Jasmine Peeples both scoring in double digits with 22 points each. Peeples contributed 21 total bounds, five blocks, and one steal for the team.
 
The Lady Tigers will now regroup for their next conference game against Alabama A&M University on Monday, Jan. 5^th at 5:30 p.m.
