With a win over SWAC rival University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff and clinching the SWAC West title and a berth in the Dec. 5 SWAC championship game, Grambling State University's G-Men have jumped three positions in the STATS FCS Top 25 -- from #25 to #22.
With a 8-2 record overall and an undefeated SWAC conference record of 8-0, got 491 votes.
Another HBCU, North Carolina A&T State University jumped from #19 to #16 with a 9-1 record overall and a 7-0 MEAC record, snaring 1418 votes in the poll. NCA&T beat Delaware State University 27-6 to clinch a share of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference title on Saturday (Nov. 14).
