Lady Tigers Fall to Texas Southern University

GRAMBLING, La.--The Grambling State University Lady Tigers suffered a tough 38-67 loss to the Lady Tigers of Texas Southern University Saturday afternoon in the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.

Texas Southern University's lead in the game gave them all the room they would need to knock off the Grambling State University Lady Tigers. The Grambling State Lady Tigers (GSU) junior guard Yosha Watson led the team with 13 points, three steals, three assists, and one block. The Lady Tigers of Jackson State was led by Alexus Johnson who had 18 points and one steals.

The GSU Lady Tigers (8-15, 5-7 SWAC) trailed by 16 at halftime. The GSU Lady Tigers late rally helped to keep them in the game but never secured the lead. The Lady Tigers will host Prairie View A&M University on Monday, February 16^th at 5:30 p.m.
