Box Score RUSTON, La. --- The Grambling State University Tigers baseball team took the field as the visitor team at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park on Tuesday evening as they looked to tame the Bulldogs of Louisiana Tech. Despite the late rally the GSU Tigers fell to LA Tech 1-8. 

Contrary to the score line, Grambling State looked like they had every shot at winning the contest, as they headed into the top of the third inning the Tigers led 1-0 against the Bulldogs. A four-run at the bottom of the third would quickly turn the ball game on it's head though, as the Bulldogs would cruise through the final six innings for the victory securing three more runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Larry Barraza single in the third inning brought home Justin Marzett who scored for the tigers. 

The Grambling State University Tigers will travel this weekend take on Southwestern Athletic Conference rival Southern University in doubleheader action on Saturday, March 28^th at 12:00 p.m. The tigers will close out the series on Sunday, March 29^th at 1:00 p.m.
