Box Score BATON ROUGE, La. – Second-ranked LSU (12-1) defeated Grambling (2-9) 7-1, Wednesday afternoon at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
 
Coleman McKinney pitched two innings, giving up two runs on two hits and two walks.
 
Grambling took a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Edwin Drexler led off the inning with an infield single, moved to second on a groundout and eventually scored on an RBI single by Larry Barraza. The Tigers added two more hits in the bottom of the sixth inning.
 
The Tigers returns to action in a conference match-up on Friday at 1 p.m. against Texas Southern University.
