GRAMBLING, La. -- The Grambling State University Tigers baseball team is set to host the visiting Panthers of Prairie View A&M University, April 19-20, at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park in Grambling, La. The Tigers enter the weekend with an overall record of 5-26 that includes a 3-11 mark in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. PVAMU comes to town with a 10-26 overall record and a 4-14 record in SWAC play. The Tigers will enter the series coming off a tough 6-7 loss to Jarvis Christian College Tuesday.
UP NEXTThe Tigers will travel for its four-game road stand starting on Tuesday, April 21 at 6 p.m. to take on the Nichols State University, followed by a three game Southwestern Athletic Conference series against the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, taking place April 25-26 at 12 and 1 p.m. The final road game is a Southwestern Athletic Conference match-up against Mississippi Valley State University with the first pitch at 1 p.m. The next home game for the GSU Tigers will be a weekend series against SWAC rival Southern University May 2-3 with the first pitch at 12 and 1 p.m.
