JACKSON, Miss. (Women's Tennis)  -- The Grambling State University Lady Tigers tennis closed out the Southwestern Athletic Conference Western Division Women's Tennis Roundup in Jackson, Miss. with a 3-1 record. 

GSU opened round up play against Jackson State University on Friday. The Lady Tigers fought hard but were defeated, 0-4 by Jackson State. Grambling, then, strung together 3 straight wins defeating Alabama A&M University (4-2), the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff (7-0), and Mississippi Valley State University (7-0). 

The Lady Tigers were led by Keren Muswere who was undefeated in both singles & doubles throughout the weekend. Bryttish Burts and Ana Reshetnikova also carried the Tigers with one loss and two losses respectively, in the West Roundup with Reshetnikova clinching the decisive point with a win at #4 Singles 4/6 7/5 6/1 in a hard fought, three-hour win against the Bulldogs of Alabama A&M .

Grambling, currently tied for 2nd place in the conference standings.
