NATCHITOCHES, La. (Women's Tennis) -- After a great run in the Southwestern Athletic Conference West Round Up, the Grambling State University women's tennis team headed to face Northwestern State University in a mid-week match. The Lady Tigers fought hard but were defeated, 0-7.
With the loss, Grambling moves to 3-6 on the season.
In singles,
Anastaysa Reshetnikova was the bright spot for GSU as she pressed Vladislava Litvinova with scores of 4-6 in the first set. The team ofÂ
Danna Galeano and Reshetnikova came close to a win over Kateryna Avram and Litvinova with a score of 7-5.
The Lady Tigers will be in action again on March 10 at 2 p.m. against Louisiana Tech University.
