GRAMBLING, La. (Women's Tennis) -- Coach Kenneth Meyers and the Grambling State University women's tennis team will travel a few miles down I-20 to play neighboring Louisiana Tech University on Friday at 2 p.m.
The Lady Tigers have been road warriors this season and have managed a 3-5 overall record.
Bryttish Burts,
Phonephathep Philavong, and
Anastaysa Reshetnikova are the singles leaders for Grambling as each of them has three wins under their belt. In doubles, Reshetnikova and
Danna Galeano have 3-1 record.
The Lady Techsters enter the match with a record of 7-6. La. Tech's last outing was against the University of South Alabama. The Lady Techsters were defeated 1-6. The team is led by Jazmin Britos with an 8-4 record in singles. In doubles, Jill van den Dungen and Nadja Manjon are Louisiana Tech's top team with a 5-2 record.
