Box Score 2 GRAMBLING, La. – The Grambling State baseball team routed Texas College in a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon, winning 15-4 and 17-0 at R. W. E. Jones Park.
 
In the first game, Grambling (17-25) scored 15 runs on 10 hits. 
Wesley Drain, 
Tray Bell and Rafael Ramirez each had two hits. Ramirez had two home runs and five RBI.
 
Anthony Hernandez picked up his second win of the season after pitching five innings and giving up four hits and four earned runs while striking out three batters.
 
The Tigers set season-highs of 17 runs, 17 hits, 17 RBI, five doubles and three homers in game two. 
Chris Perez, 
Ace Felder, Bell and Ramirez all hit doubles in the night cap and 
Daniel Barnett, 
Matthew Fountain and Perez hit home runs.
 
Marshawn Taylor went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI. Perez was 3-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Each of GSU' starters had at least one hit.
 
Jonathan Reid improved to 1-2 on the season with the win. He tossed a three-hit shutout and struck out nine batters in six innings.
 
Grambling has a key SWAC matchup this weekend when it hosts Texas Southern. TSU (15-24, 13-7 SWAC) is currently in first place in the Western Division, while GSU (17-25, 11-8 SWAC) is second. The three-game series begins with a 6 p.m. game on Friday, followed by games at 3 p.m. game on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
