JACKSON, Miss. | The Grambling State University women's soccer team got goals from four different players on Sunday afternoon in a 4-0 victory over Jackson State in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) match.
Grambling State (7-7 overall, 4-1 SWAC) opened the scoring in the 17th minute as
Sarah Dunbar scored off assists by
Brittany Terry and
Kaylee Holt to give GSU a 1-0 advantage.
Grambling State doubled the margin in the 27th minute as Holt scored off an assist by Terry to extend the lead to 2-0.
Jasmine Smith got into the scoring column off an assist by Dunbar in the 61st minute and
Clarissa Rivas found the back of the net from assist by
Kailey Pena in the 86th minute to conclude the scoring.
