GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University women's basketball team will look to keep its win streak alive with a pair of Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) games as the Lady Tigers visit Prairie View A&M on Saturday, followed by a trip to Texas Southern on Monday. Tip-off for Saturday's game at the William Nicks Building is set for 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Monday at the Health and Physical Education Arena.

Grambling State (11-11 overall, 8-3 SWAC) improved in SWAC play after wins over Southern and Alcorn State.

Prairie View A&M (8-13, 6-4) has won its last two games, defeating Alabama A&M and Texas Southern.

Texas Southern (12-9, 7-3) was unable to extend their six-game winning streak to seven after dropping a 65-48 decision to Prairie View A&M.

ABOUT PRAIRIE VIEW A&M
* The Lady Panthers are averaging 68.3 points per game, while their opponents are averaging 70.6 points.
* Prairie View A&M is shooting 36.8 percent (497-of-1351) from the floor and 69.1 (365-of-528) from the foul line.
* Shala Dobbins is leading the Lady Panthers' offense in double digits at 20.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, followed by Dominique Newman at 10.0 points and 4.6 boards per game.

Monisha Neal became the second Grambling State women's basketball player this season to score1,000 career-high points. Neal was only eight points away from reaching her feat, which she achieved last Saturday against Arkansas Pine-Bluff. The Lewisville, Texas native finished the night with 11 points, five boards, three steals, and two assists.

Shakyla Hill became the fourth NCAA Division I women's basketball player in history to register a quadruple-double as she finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 10 steals and 10 assists against Alabama State (Jan. 3).
