GRAMBLING, La. | Three Grambling State University men's basketball players reached double figures in scoring as the Grambling State University men's basketball team rolled past Alcorn State, 77-42, in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) game on Monday night at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.

Grambling State (8-9 overall, 2-2 SWAC), which have now won two straight SWAC games, led 39-21 at the break and did not let up. The Tigers shot 53.6 percent in the first half and cruised to the victory.

Dallas Polk-Hilliard posted a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Tiger offense.
Anthony Gaston poured in 16 points, two boards, two assists and one steal, while Devante Jackson registered 15 points, five rebounds and three assists.
Travon Bunch recorded nine points, four blocks, three assists, two rebounds and one steal.

Troymain Crosby led Alcorn State (4-12, 0-4) with 15 points, four rebounds, two steals and one block. Reginald Johnson added 12 points and one steal.

Alcorn State grabbed a 14-13 advantage after a Maurice Howard 3-pointer with 13:16 remaining in the first half. Grambling State responded with a 17-6 run to take a 31-19 lead after a
Dallas Polk-Hilliard 3-pointer with 7:45 left.

The Tigers extended the margin to 39-21 after a three-point play by Devante Jackson right before the half.

Grambling State put the game out of reach with a 13-2 run to begin the second half and cruised the big victory.
