GSU set to take on JSU

GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University women's basketball team returns home, riding a three-game win streak, to take on Jackson State in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) game on Saturday.
 
Tip-off against Jackson State is set for 3 p.m. at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.
 
Grambling State (8-10 overall, 5-1 SWAC), which is currently tied for first place in the SWAC standings and has won five out of its last six games, comes into Saturday's game off a thrilling 64-63 win over Prairie View A&M on Monday. GSU is seeking its second consecutive win over JSU.
 
Jackson State (5-12, 1-5), which has dropped six out of its last seven games, will come into Saturday's game off a 76-67 loss to Texas Southern on Monday. JSU's last win came on Jan. 12 in an 88-66 victory over Alcorn State.
