MOBILE, Ala. | The Grambling State University women's tennis team opened its season on Saturday as the Lady Tigers dropped a pair of 7-0 decisions to South Alabama at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.

In the opening match against the Jaguars, South Alabama swept the doubles points and completed the match with six singles victories.

In the second contest, South Alabama got a point in doubles and completed the sweep with six singles wins.

Grambling State returns to the courts on Sunday, Feb. 3 in Ruston, La. against Louisiana (Lafayette). The match is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
