HATTIESBURG, Miss. | The Grambling State University women's tennis team returned to the courts after a 18-day layoff and dropped a 7-0 decision to Southern Miss on Thursday at the Southern Miss Tennis Facility.

Southern Miss (4-0) swept the doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead.

In singles play, the Golden Eagles got victories at No. 6 and No. 4 to seal the win and completed the sweep at No. 1, No. 3, No. 5 and No. 2.
