Box Score GRAMBLING, La. l The Grambling State University women's volleyball team were swept by Prairie View A&M University, 3-0, in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) match on Monday evening at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.
"Tonight's game did not go as predicted. We will find a way to win," said head coach
Demetria Keys-Johnson. "We need to do a better job completing our cycles and producing offensively. We will go back to the drawing board and figure it out."
Prairie View A&M (5-17, 5-1 SWAC) took all three games, 25-21, 25-19 and 25-15, to claim the victory.
Chasity Nicks led the Lady Tigers with 11 kills and nine digs, and
Tamaria Johnson chipped in with nine kills and a solo dig.
Tamaira Armstrong recorded 11 kills and seven digs, while Tamia Hightower contributed five kills.
