BATON ROUGE, La. | The Grambling State University women's tennis team dropped a 4-2 decision to Jackson State to conclude play at the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) West Round-Up on Sunday.

Grambling State (1-5 overall, 1-1 SWAC) fell behind 1-0 after Jackson State took the doubles point.

Jackson State took a 2-0 advantage after a win at No. 1 singles, but GSU cut the margin to 2-1 as
Keren Happuch Muswere defeated Oni Jones, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 2. Jackson State picked up a win at No. 3 to put them on the verge of winning the match, but at No. 4,
Imperia Martinez defeated Maria Martinez, 6-2, 7-5, with No. 5 and No. 6 still on the court. However, Jackson State sealed the match at No. 6.
