GRAMBLING, La. | Grambling State University head women's soccer coach
Justin Wagar announced an Elite Soccer Camp, set for July 12 through July 15, on the campus of Grambling State University.
The Grambling State women's soccer team went 14-8 last season and won the regular season title for the first time in 12 years and set numerous records, including most wins, least goals allowed, most shutouts (13), which included a stretch of over 900 minutes without allowing a goal. In addition, the Lady Tigers had six players named to the All-Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) teams and Wagar was named the conference Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season.
Sign up now and come train, learn and show your stuff this summer as part of the Grambling State Soccer Camp. Spots in the dorms are limited so sign up early.
Overnight Camp (stay in the dorms): The cost for an overnighter to attend the camp, which includes lodging and meals is $335 if you register after June 15, or only $300 per camper if you get the Early Bird discount by registering by prior to June 15. There is an additional discount for those who attend as part of a group. Campers looking to attend as a commuter is $155, or $120 total as a commuter if you register by June 15.
This camp is our premier camp for the year with many of our top campers and prospects who come to compete for the opportunity to impress the GSU coaching staff and to work on a lot of soccer specific skill training that will help to prepare campers to succeed at a high level. Camp will be a mixture of skill training and competition. Last year we had campers from nine different states and three different nations.
