Box Score LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Grambling State University volleyball team fell 3-0, to Lamar to conclude their second game in the Springhill Suites Invitational on Friday afternoon at the Pan American Center.
The Pilots won in three sets, 25-18, 25-18, and 25-11.
Grambling State (1-6) was led on offense Linzy Woods and Saige Rivers. Tthey both registered six kills, while Gillian Jones registered four. Kabria Dames led on defense with 14 digs, Maurisa Harris tallied eight, while Chasity Nicks had two.
Lamar (5-3) had two players register double figure kills. The offense was led by Abigale Nash who had 13 kills and Kaitlyn Gil who had 11. Dannisha House tallied nine. Nash and Gil also led on defense with eleven digs, while Erin Pequeno has nine of her own.

> Grambling State finished with 24 kills, 20 errors, 91 attacks.
> Portland had 46 kills, 14 errors, 100 attacks.
> The Lady Tigers recorded 34 digs, 23 assists
> The Pilots registered 43 digs, 41 assists
