Box Score GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling Tigers won their fourth straight conference game with an 80-71 victory over Alcorn State University at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center in Southwestern Athletic Conference play. The win is the Tigers' fourth in a row as they prepare for a rematch against Prairie View on Saturday.
Grambling (13-11, 7-4 SWAC) went on a 14-0 run in the first half thanks to
Cameron Christon who finished with a team-high 20 points and also grabbed nine rebounds in the win while teammmate
Devante Jackson generated a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds while connecting on all five on his free throws.
Senior point guard
Ivy Smith, Jr. produced 11 points, three assists, three rebounds and also connected on all four of his shots from the foul line.

High-flying redshirt junior
Prince Moss scored 12 points and added three assists, but no basket was bigger than the monster jam he had off a fast break with 39 seconds left to play to extend Grambling's lead to nine points.
The Braves were led by freshman Dominic Brewton who finished with a game-high 23 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the field.

> Grambling State shot 46 percent (28-of-61) from the floor and 80 percent (20-of-25) from the charity stripe
> Alcorn was 27-of-64 (42 percent) from the field and 12-of-20 (60 percent) from the foul line
> GSU registered 42 rebounds, including 14 on the offensive glass
> Alcorn pulled down 29 rebounds, with 10 coming on the offensive end
> The Tigers finished with 36 points in the paint, 17 bench points, 19 second-chance points and 11 fast break points
> The Braves recorded 28 points in the paint, 17 bench points, eight second-chance points and four fast break points

The Tigers continue conference play on Saturday, February 15 as they travel to Texas to face Prairie View A&M. Tip-off against the Panthers is set for 5:30 p.m. at the William Nicks Building in the second of two games of the SWAC doubleheader.
