Grambling (11-11, 5-4 SWAC) led 47-20 at the break and cruised to victory behind senior point guard Ivy Smith, Jr. and senior center Travon Bunch, who both had monster games. Smith, Jr. was three assists shy of a triple-double, scoring 19 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out seven assists while Bunch produced a double-double and finished with a game-high 23 points on 11-of-16 shooting from the field. He also grabbed 11 rebounds and had one block in the win.

Smith, Jr. was efficient all night and shot 6-of-8 from the field while nailing 7-of-9 free throws.
