GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University football team closes out back-to-back road games with a trip on Saturday to visit Arkansas-Pine Bluff in a Southwestern Athletic Conference game. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. from Simmons Bank Field.

Grambling State (3-5 overall, 2-3 SWAC) enters the contest off a 26-3 road loss to Florida A&M last week. The Tigers fell behind 14-0 early in the second quarter and could not recover.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff (1-7, 0-5) is riding a seven-game losing streak after opening the season with a 34-16 victory over Lane College. The Golden Lions will enter Saturday's tilt off a 59-17 road loss to Texas Southern last week.

Saturday's game will be streamed live on ESPN+. In addition, Grambling State will broadcast and stream the game on the Grambling State Sports Radio Network. The game can be heard in Ruston (KRUS - Hitz 96.3) and in Monroe (KNNW - 103.1 FM). The Tigers' broadcast crew of Santoria Black, Ossie Clark and Nick Harrison and T. Lay Collins will call all of the action.

"This week we are playing a good Arkansas-Pine Bluff football team," Grambling State head football coach Broderick Fobbs said. "They have an exceptional good coaching staff and like us, they've had some bumps in the road. We have to go into the game and play Grambling football. We need to protect the ball, be solid in all three phases and if we can do that, we should be able to leave Pine Bluff with the victory."
