FORT WORTH, Texas | The Grambling State University men's basketball team suffered a 90-55 loss to Texas Christian on Tuesday evening at the Schollmaier Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Grambling State (3-9) got on the board first with a jumper by
Cameron Christon at the 19:33 mark
-Texas Christian (10-1) jumped ahead to a 13-7 lead as Charles O'bannon sunk a three-pointer to boost the Horned Frogs with 15:00 minutes left in the first half
-The Tigers closed the gap with an
Eric Parrish jumper setting the score at 20-17 with 11:03 remaining in the first
-TCU went on a 16-0 run to escape GSU with 4:51 to play before the half, building a 36-17 advantage.
-Damion Baugh drained a jumper for TCU as time expired into the half, Tigers trailing 47-28
-TCU opened the second half going on a 7-0 run leading GSU 55-28 with 17:01 left in the game
-The Horned Frogs dominated the rest of the second half leading, gripping a 39 point lead, 90-51, with 49 seconds left to play. Â

- Grambling State shot 42.1 percent (13-for-33) from the floor and 46.2 percent (6-for-13) from the free-throw line
 -The Tigers recorded 40 points in the paint, 22 bench points, 15 points off of 16 Texas Christian turnovers, six second-chance points and 12 fast-break points
-Texas Christian shot 47.6 percent (30-of-63) from the field and 42.3 percent (11-of-26) from the charity stripe
- Charles O'bannon led the way for the Horned Frogs, posting 19 points, three assists and eight rebounds
