Box Score GRAMBLING, La. | The Tigers found themselves down 12 at the break before mounting a furious second-half comeback, only to fall two points short as Texas Southern squeezed by Grambling 75-73 at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center in Southwestern Athletic Conference action. The loss snaps Grambling's four-game win streak.

Prince Moss answered back with a pair of free throws to bring the score to 65-59 with less than eight minutes to play, followed by a steal from sophomore
Tra'Michael Moton who skipped it to Moss, who then buried two more free throws. The Tigers continued their run and scored a total of eight straight points to tie the game at 65 apiece capped by a lay-up by Moton.
Junior guard
Cameron Christon took a hard spill in early action but was able to return in the latter half as he chipped in with 11 points for the Tigers.
With 2:17 left to play in regulation, Grambling took a three-point lead after senior
Trevell Cunningham split a pair of free throws. Texas Southern then scored four straight points to take a 71-70 lead with 1:25 left to play before Cunningham answered back on the other end with a bucket to give Grambling a 72-71 lead with just over one minute left in regulation.

Kelton Edwards tied the game with a free throw, but missed the chance to take the lead. Texas Southern collected the rebound as Jordan Gilliam buried the game-winning jumper with three seconds left. The Tigers had one final chance to potentially tie or win the game, but turned the ball over on their final possession.
The Tigers struggled from the line down the stretch and made only three of their last six free throws in the most crucial point of the game. Senior
Prince Moss finished with a team-high 15 points and five boards, including 6-for-8 from the free throw line for Grambling while fellow senior teammate Cunningham, who filled the stat sheet with 14 points, seven assists, six rebounds and one steal in the loss. Cunningham hit 5-of-8 from the charity stripe.

Sophomore guard Moton produced 13 points, six dimes, three boards and two steals and was a perfect 4-of-4 from the free-throw line.
Texas Southern's Gilliam finished with a game-high 18 points in the win.
