Kailey Pena continued her stellar season with three goals as Grambling breezed by Alcorn State 5-2 at the GSU Soccer Complex in Southwestern Athletic Conference action. The win marks Grambling's third SWAC victory in five tries.
The Tigers (3-2-1) cruised to a 3-1 lead at halftime with Pena's two first half goals {third min./10th min.) along with
Haylee O'Leary's perfect strike from outside the 18 in the eighth minute.
Paula Burillo-Blasco added an insurance goal in the 70th minute in a half where the Tigers produced 14 shots to secure the victory.
