OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.| The Grambling State softball team ended play at the Red Dirt Classic in Oklahoma City by blowing out Langston, 10-0, on Saturday afternoon at the USA Hall of Fame Softball Complex.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Grambling State (10-7) scored nine points in the fourth inning starting with a two-run RBI from
Anaiyah Fultz
-Ta'Mya Johnson singled up the middle allowing
Anaiyah Fultz to score as GSU led 5-0

India Wells laid down a bunt that brought Johnson home
-Three Langston errors allowed Grambling State to score three more times before
Tytianna Robinson singles up the middle to bring one more run across the plate making it 10-0
-Langston (4-7) went three up and three down in the bottom of the fourth inning as Grambling State was able to walk away with the victory
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
-Grambling State finished with 14 hits, 10 runs and no errors
-Langston finished with three hits and two errors

Ja'Lynn Bonner sealed the victory for the Lady Tigers striking out two batters and only allowing three hits
-McKenzie Connor took the loss for Langston committing four errors and allowing seven hits in three innings
UP NEXT
The Lady Tigers will begin conference play at the GSU Softball Complex on Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12. GSU is set to host Prairie View A&M in its first home series of the season. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. on Friday.
