BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Grambling State University football team will have the opportunity to be featured on the ESPN Family of Networks once this season, as announced by the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) on Thursday. 

 The conference made the announcement during the annual SWAC Football Media Day at the Sheraton-Birmingham hotel. 

 The Tigers open the season at Arkansas State on Saturday, September 3 and that contest will be streamed live on ESPN+. 

 Grambling State's game on Saturday, Sept. 17 at Jackson State will be tape delayed on ESPNU and can be viewed live on the ESPN app. 

 In addition to the two games, the Tigers will conclude the regular season against rival Southern in the Bayou Classic on NBC Sports and the Peacock Channel. 

 Grambling State begins the 2022 season in Jonesboro, Ark. to take on Arkansas State in Centennial Bank Stadium on Sept. 3. Kickoff against the Red Wolves is set for 6 p.m.
