GRAMBLING, La. | Grambling State University head volleyball coach,
Paige Phillips, announced on Wednesday the 2022 schedule, which features seven home matches at the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center.

"I am extremely excited about our 2022 schedule and the opening our season," Phillips said. "We have a tough non-conference schedule, which should prepare us for our conference slate. We have several good matchups and I look forward to us competing night in and night out."

Grambling State begins the season in Carbondale, Ill. at the Saluki Bash as the Lady Tigers meet Southern Illinois on August 26, and will face host Southern Illinois on August 27.

GSU continues its road swing with a short trip to Ruston, La. on August 31 against Louisiana Tech, followed by matches September 2-3 in Florence, Ala. at the UNA Volleyball Classic against North Alabama, New Orleans and Lamar.

The Lady Tigers travel to Murfreesboro, Tenn. September 9-10 to compete in the Blue Raider Invitational, as GSU will meet Middle Tennessee State, UT-Martin and Belmont.

Grambling State's 2022 home opener is September 21 in the Exit 81 Classic with a doubleheader against Central Baptist and Tougaloo College.

The Lady Tigers open Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) play September 25 and September 26, respectively, at Alcorn State and Southern.

GSU opens the month of October with back-to-back home matches, starting on Oct. 2 with Greek Day against Prairie View A&M, followed by Breast Cancer Awareness Day on Oct. 3 versus Texas Southern.

Grambling State begins SWAC Round-up action October 9-10 in Huntsville, Ala. against Florida A&M, Alabama A&M and Mississippi Valley State.

The Black and Gold return home for consecutive matches, beginning with Alumni Night on October 23 against Alcorn State, followed by Tiger Pride Night (Black Out Game) on October 24 versus rival Southern.

The Lady Tigers visit Arkansas-Pine Bluff on October 27, before the final SWAC Round-up as GSU will face off against Alabama State, Jackson State and Bethune-Cookman October 30-31 in Prairie View, Texas.

Grambling State begins the final month with two road matches as the Lady Tigers meet Prairie View A&M on November 6 and Texas Southern on November 7.

GSU concludes the regular season with Senior Night on November 10 at home against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
