GRAMBLING, La. | The Grambling State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the promotional schedule for the rest of the home slate of the 2022-23 men's and women's basketball schedule.
On Jan. 28 and Jan. 30, The Tigers will host Jackson State and Alcorn State for "Greek Weekend."
Members of Greek letter organizations, wearing paraphernalia, will be admitted into the games for a discounted price of $5. Greek letter organizations are encouraged to participate in the halftime stroll off during the men's game Jan. 28 (soft-soled shoes only).
The "Kids Zone" will be also open on Jan. 28 from 1-4 p.m. in Section 112 of the Fredrick C. Hobdy Assembly Center for children ages 12 and under.
GSU will tip-off "Black & Gold Weekend" on Feb. 11 versus Texas Southern for "Banner Night." Fans are encouraged to wear black and gold as we honor our 2017 women's basketball regular season champions, the 2018 SWAC women's basketball tournament champions and the 2018 SWAC men's basketball regular season champions.
In addition, Grambling State Athletics will unveil banners, commemorating every championship basketball team in school history.
The weekend concludes on Feb. 13, as the Tigers take on Prairie View A&M on "Alumni Night." Men's and women's basketball alumni can register HERE.
On Feb. 18, fans are encouraged to wear pink in in support of breast cancer awareness as the Lady Tigers host Southern University at 3:30 p.m.
GSU hosts Grambling Community & Lincoln Parish Weekend on March 2 and March 4 when the Tigers take on Alabama A&M and Alabama State. Residents of Lincoln Parish will be granted free admission with proof of residency.
The "Kids Zone" returns on March 4 and will be open from 3-6 p.m.
